The Royal Reading Kingdom welcomes you and your child to the 2019-2020 school year. Reading books is an adventure we want all of our students to experience!! This magical experience needs to be shared and "shown-off". Please encourage all of your child's interest in books and learning!
We have spent time at school discussing library citizenship and how to take care of a book. Although the children have learned many library rules and considerations they will need your help with reminders.
Sunset Library is OPEN each day from 7:45 – 3:00 for circulation:) Library pass times are designed for the students to have a daily opportunity to come to the library, as well as a weekly library class time.
Please see that your child carries his/her library books to school in a book bag or backpack. Carrying books in some sort of bag is easier for a small child and will help keep the books protected.
Learning to read for a young child is a thrilling experience. You can foster this attitude by reading to your child and encouraging your child to look at and enjoy books. This is a memorable experience for both parents and children.
